During the week of April 19th, Adel Elementary staff and students celebrated Spring Book Week with the theme of “Our Futures Are Bright!” During this week, students dreamed about their futures, received advice from students in the grade above them for next year, and read about how they can do their part in keeping our earth safe for the future. The week culminated in a “Bright Glow-Stick Dance Party.” Students also donated canned goods to the Adel Food Pantry to give back to the future of our community. The week was a fun way to celebrate literacy and the successes of our students!
