The ADM Boys Cross Country team and sophomore, Geneva Timmerman have qualified for the Iowa High School State Cross Country meet on Friday, October 30th in Fort Dodge.  The ADM girls and boys cross country teams ran at Winterset on Wednesday, October 28th in a state qualifying meet for class 3-A where teams in the top 3 and individuals placing in the top 15 advanced to the state meet.

Sophomore, Geneva Timmerman took home the girls state qualifying meet championship and advanced to the state meet by winning the race in a time of 18:15.

The ADM Boys placed second in the team standing and had 3 individuals place in the top 15 at the state qualifying meet in Winterset.  Returning state champion and senior, Nate Mueller took home the state qualifying meet championship in a time of 15:15, while junior Cooper Greenslade placed 8th and senior Ethan Juergens placed 12th.  Members of the boys cross country team that will be advancing to the state meet along with the runners listed above include:  Alex Dvorak, Nathan Royer, Caleb Crystal, Hubie Chaplin, and Quinton Kimrey.

The state cross country meet will be held at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.  The 3A girls race will start at 3:30 pm with the 3-A boys race to follow at 4:00 pm.  The 3-A awards ceremony will start at 4:50 pm.
