The USDA has issued nationwide waivers which allow school districts and community organizations to extend the operation of the Summer Food Service Program into the current school year through December 31, 2020, or until available funding runs out.

Adel DeSoto Minburn CSD is participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program during this time, which will allow for a safe and streamlined service of nutritious meals.  Meals will be provided to ALL Enrolled Children without charge.  FREE meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows: 

  • Adel Elementary, serving all school days, meal times are: 8:00 until 8:40 AM and 10:55 until 12:20
  • DeSoto Intermediate, serving all school days, meal times are: 8:00 until 8:30 and 11:00 until 12:48 PM
  • Adel Middle School, serving all school days, meal times are: 7:45 until 8:10 AM and 11:15 until 12:44 PM
  • Adel High School, serving all days, meal times are: 7:45 until 8:15 and 11:20 until 1:25 PM
  • Virtual learners pick up at the High School from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM
