The staff at Adel Elementary is looking forward to welcoming students to school on Monday, August 24th. As families are aware, some aspects of the school day will look different to support safety and mitigation efforts. The following information will allow families to learn about aspects of the school day and specific information on arrival and dismissal procedures.
Arrival Procedures: The linked map provides a visual of our drop off area for families choosing to bring their child to school. It is important to note that students will not be allowed to exit vehicles until 8:00 AM because they will directly enter the building to go to the classroom.
Dismissal Procedures: The linked map provides a visual of our pick up area for families choosing to pick up a student after school. On the first day of school each child riding home in a car will have a sign with their last name. This sign should be used each day at pick-up to support the attendant in efficiently helping the child to locate the vehicle.
It is important to note dismissal times for students being picked up by a parent.
August 24th and 25th: 1:30 pm dismissal for car riders
August 26th, 27th and all full school days: 3:00 pm dismissal for car riders
Beginning September 25th and all following Fridays: 12:30 pm dismissal for car riders
