ADM High School students participated in a panel discussion with Second-grade students at Adel Elementary during Advocacy week. Second graders learned about disabilities and advocacy through activities, books, and lessons. The high schoolers visited as part of the culminating activities to discuss how they advocate for peers on a daily basis – even in high school. Students shared the message to be kind to everyone, include peers who seem to be left out or alone, and live by the “Golden Rule.”
