DeSoto students, families, and staff participated in the 3rd Annual STEAM Night (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) on Tuesday, January 24th. Families visited several interactive, hands-on, and winter-themed learning stations that included musical harmonicas, winter ziplines, snowball launchers, symmetrical snowflake art, and virtual reality Arctic excursions. DeSoto Intermediate had 132 groups attend with a total of 419 participants. Students had a fantastic time sharing their learning experiences with their families and teachers through these creative and STEAM-based activities!
