ADM School Board Vice-President Kelli Book has submitted a resignation of her school board position effective following the May 13, 2019 Board meeting. Kelli and her family are moving in late May to just outside the ADM attendance boundary; therefore, she is no longer eligible to serve as a board member. Her resignation letter reads (in part):
“I have been honored to serve the district for almost ten years. Over those ten years, the district has seen great success and growth. I am proud to have been a part of the team during this time. The district is fortunate to have great leaders, amazing teachers, supportive communities, and wonderful kids.”
We will certainly miss Kelli on the Board team, and I am extremely grateful for her years of service and leadership on the Board. It is the intention of the remaining members of the Board to fill the vacancy by appointment. This appointment would fill this vacancy until a successor is elected at the next regular school board election in November 2019.
