On November 12th, the third grade students participated in the ADM Ag Day. This is DeSoto Intermediate’s third year participating in the event. This year it was organized by the ADM FFA group. The Ag Day concept was brought to fruition by ADM Alumnus Erica Baier. Students rotated through six stations to learn about various agricultural industries in Iowa. The workstations were fun, interactive, and educational covering topics such as technology, soybeans, corn, cattle, horses, and pigs. Thank you to the ADM FFA students along with various community members for supporting this informative opportunity.
